Our salaries are pegged to EURO 🥳
I am happy to announce that all Ifonix salaries have been pegged to the Euro.
Ifonixians are our most valuable asset, and we pegged all salaries to EUR because it is the right thing to do as a company. The current Sri Lankan economy is extremely difficult for everyone, and the country’s sky-high inflation is affecting every corner of the country. As a founder, I personally believe that people’s happiness is the most important thing, and our policies at Ifonix are based on that belief.
The current situation is not the result of our mistakes, but of a problem with the relevant authorities; however, I believe it shouldn’t affect the general population in such a drastic way, but we cannot change everybody’s lives but we can make a difference for at least a few, hence I am extremely happy and proud to do initiate this for all our Ifonixias.
Ifonix is backed by the Webgroup in Luxembourg, and we provide IT services and bring foreign revenue to Sri Lanka. With the current exchange rate, Ifonix benefits and we believe that we should pass on this benefit to all our beloved employees who work day and night to elevate Ifonix to the next level.
